Our client is a leading company specializing in interior fit-out and design services for residential villas in Dubai.
You will be responsible for creating detailed and accurate technical drawings and plans for interior design and fit-out projects, primarily for villas. You will work closely with architects, interior designers, and project managers to ensure that designs are executed to perfection and in line with client specifications.
Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed technical drawings, plans, and layouts for interior fit-out projects, ensuring all dimensions, materials, and specifications are accurate.
Work collaboratively with interior designers and architects to understand project requirements and translate them into CAD drawings.
Review and revise drafts based on feedback from the design team, clients, or project managers.
Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to ensure drawings align with practical implementation on-site.
Maintain and organize project documentation, including design revisions, material specifications, and construction details.
Assist in creating 3D models or renderings when required to help visualize design concepts.
Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines with high attention to detail.
Provide technical support and expertise during the construction and fit-out phases.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Draftsman in interior design, fit-out, or a related field (experience in villa projects preferred).
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other relevant design software.
Strong understanding of interior design principles, architectural drawings, and construction processes.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams.
Ability to handle tight deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of local building codes and regulations in Dubai (preferred).
A degree or diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field is preferred.
Fluency in English (Arabic language skills are a plus).
2+ years of experience working as a Draftsman, particularly in residential or villa interior fit-out projects.
Experience with 3D visualization and rendering software (SketchUp, 3DS Max, etc.) is a plus.
Previous experience in the UAE market and familiarity with local suppliers and contractors is an advantage.
Competitive salary (AED 5,000 - AED 7,000 per month, depending on experience).
