We are seeking a Sales Manager tasked with cultivating and nurturing brand awareness while fostering relationships with pivotal stakeholders, such as owners, operators and designers. This position offers the potential for progression to a regional sales management position, accompanied by enhanced earning potential and travel prospects.
Key Responsibilities
• Prospecting qualified leads to progress to product interest and quoted opportunities.
• Managing existing database to generate further opportunities.
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers such as General Managers, F&B Managers, Executive Chefs, designers and consultants. Also, liaising with key stakeholders to fully understand clients’ needs and expectations.
• Developing a holistic sales strategy working with the IHS Sales Support Team.
• Generating new business opportunities.
Essential Criteria
• Experience in opening high value opportunities.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, internal and client-based.
• Confidence in cold calling.
• High level of emotional intelligence to successfully convert cold and warm calls.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Time management and organizational skills.
• Skilled in CRM systems and using the available data to deliver results.
• A strong work ethic and desire to develop yourself and others.
• Desire to interact with different cultures and manage language barriers.
• Flexibility in dealing with different time zones.
• Previous experience in the hospitality industry – Management, Operations, Sales.
