This position is responsible for leading a team maintenance, ensuring the successful completion of tasks, and providing technical expertise in mechanical engineering, organizing the workshop and create a system. This position requires a strong combination of technical knowledge, leadership abilities, and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance Planning and Oversight

  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for machinery and equipment.

  • Oversee daily maintenance activities and ensure timely completion.

  • Monitor and optimize equipment performance.

Team Management

  • Supervise maintenance technicians and junior engineers.

  • Assign tasks, set priorities, and ensure adherence to safety protocols.

  • Provide training and support to team members to enhance skills and efficiency.

Technical Expertise

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues.

  • Recommend and implement equipment modifications or upgrades.

  • Analyze root causes of mechanical failures and propose corrective actions.

Reporting and Documentation

  • Maintain records of maintenance schedules, work orders, and equipment histories.

  • Prepare reports on equipment performance, downtime, and maintenance costs.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.

  • Provide regular progress reports to senior management.

Collaboration

  • Coordinate with other departments (e.g., production, quality) to align maintenance with
    operational needs.

  • Work with external vendors or contractors for specialized repairs or installations.

Budget and Resource Management

  • Manage the maintenance department’s budget.

  • Procure spare parts, tools, and equipment as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field (master’s degree preferred).

  • Professional Engineer (PE) licensure or eligibility is a plus.

  • 7 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a proven track record of leading and
    managing teams.

  • Must has an knowledge and experience in Volvo and Mercedes-Benz trucks

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and design standards.

  • Proficiency in computer and other engineering tools.

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • Ability to create maintains (SOP) and depts. manual procedure.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills.

  • Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to mechanical engineering projects.
