The Managing Director is responsible for the overall strategic direction, operational performance, and financial health of the company. This role requires a strong leader with extensive experience in the engine component overhaul and/or automotive parts industry, with a proven track record of driving growth, optimizing operations, and building high-performing teams.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and implement the company's strategic plan to achieve short-term and long-term goals.

  • Identify and evaluate new market opportunities and potential business ventures.

  • Monitor industry trends and adapt business strategies accordingly.

Operational Management:

  • Oversee all operational aspects of the company, including engine component overhaul, engine assembly, turbocharger repair/rebuild, and spare parts supply chain.

  • Ensure efficient and effective resource allocation to optimize productivity and profitability.

  • Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure adherence to industry standards and customer requirements.

  • Manage inventory control systems to meet customer needs and minimize costs.

Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage the company's budget, ensuring financial targets are met.

  • Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions as needed.

  • Oversee financial reporting and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Sales and Business Development:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to expand market share and customer base.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, suppliers, and industry partners.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.

Team Leadership:

  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team.

  • Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to employees.

  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

  • Implement performance management systems to drive accountability and employee growth.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.

  • Identify and mitigate potential risks to the company's operations and reputation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a leadership role within the engine component overhaul and/or automotive parts industry.

  • Proven track record of driving growth and improving operational efficiency.

  • Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.

  • In-depth knowledge of engine components, turbochargers, and truck spare parts.

  • Familiarity with quality control standards and regulatory requirements in the industry.

  • Experience with inventory management systems and supply chain optimization.
