Key Responsibilities:
Inspect, troubleshoot, disassemble, service, rebuild, overhaul, and repair IFV turret systems.
Ensure all maintenance tasks, including inspections, servicing, rebuilds, overhauls, and repairs, comply with technical manuals, KPIs, and OEM specifications.
Execute quality maintenance repairs in alignment with the ISO 9001 Quality Management System program.
Conduct IFV turret system maintenance inspections to assess the repair needs and determine the required spare parts.
Utilize specialized tools and diagnostic test equipment for turret system troubleshooting.
Replace major turret system assemblies (e.g., turret ring, Namut thermal sight, SOHZ gunner’s main sight, and integrated laser range finder) and components (such as wiring harnesses, smoke grenade launchers, hydraulic lines, and tubing).
Ensure all spare parts residue from maintenance orders is returned to the Armament Workshop store.
Conduct spare parts research to ensure that only necessary components are requisitioned in the correct quantities.
Complete maintenance documentation, including task reports, direct labor hours, vehicle-specific information, spare part requests, etc.
Adhere to all safety, housekeeping, and environmental protocols.
Ensure that all issued tools, uniforms, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) are properly accounted for, maintained, and secured.
Maintain the confidentiality and security of all company-related information.
Collaborate with other Armament Workshop team members to support their roles and responsibilities.
Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Manager, Armament Workshop.
Minimum Requirements:
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
A minimum of one year of experience in performing scheduled and/or unscheduled maintenance on tracked or heavy wheeled vehicle turret systems is required.
Previous military experience or automotive training is advantageous.
The ability to interpret complex electrical, mechanical, and/or hydraulic schematics is preferred.
Experience using diagnostic testing equipment is a plus.
Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are required.
