Automotive: Provides premium design, engineering, and product management services tailored to the automotive industry.

Responsible for advising organizations on their procurement strategies to achieve cost savings, efficiency improvements, and enhanced supplier relationships. This role involves analyzing current procurement processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing best practices. The consultant works closely with clients to develop and execute procurement plans that align with their business goals and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
Compliance to ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management System requirement
Strategic Planning: Develop comprehensive procurement strategies that align with the client’s business objectives. Provide insights and recommendations to improve procurement processes and policies.
Process Improvement: Analyze existing procurement processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement. Implement best practices to streamline operations, reduce costs, and improve supplier performance.
Supplier Management: Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and compliance with standards. Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to ensure favorable terms for clients.
Cost Reduction: Identify cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing, supplier consolidation, and competitive bidding. Implement strategies to achieve measurable cost reductions while maintaining quality and service levels.
Risk Management: Assess and mitigate procurement risks, including supply chain disruptions, regulatory changes, and supplier performance issues. Develop contingency plans to ensure continuity of supply.
Compliance and Governance: Ensure that procurement activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. Develop and implement procurement governance frameworks to ensure accountability and transparency.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize data analytics to track procurement performance, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and identify trends. Prepare and present reports to clients and senior management.
Training and Support: Provide training and support to client teams on procurement best practices, tools, and technologies. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the procurement function.
Technology Integration: Advise clients on the implementation and optimization of procurement technologies, such as e-procurement systems and supplier management software. Ensure technology solutions are effectively integrated into the client’s procurement processes.
Experience & Qualification:
Minimum 7 years experience in the automotive industry
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, or a related field.
Experience in handling global logistics especially from China, Taiwan, India and other East Asian Countries.
Previous working experience as supply chain or logistics preferably in automotive sector
