The client is a Dubai-based innovation firm specializing in the fusion of design and technology to create exceptional products. With a presence in the UAE, USA, India, and China, the client serves a global clientele, including high-end automotive brands like Ferrari, Rolls-Royce, and Tesla. The company offers comprehensive services encompassing strategic business consulting, product development, and project execution, all underpinned by a commitment to innovation, quality, and effective communication. 

They client operates through two primary divisions:

  • Automotive: Provides premium design, engineering, and product management services tailored to the automotive industry. 

  • Lifestyle: Specializes in luxury product design and branding solutions, elevating lifestyle brands through innovative design. 

Manager -Sales & Business Development’s role involves managing day-to-day sales team operations, assisting in the development and implementation of sales strategies. To maintain customer relationships, analyzing sales data, and ensuring the sales team operates efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Compliance to ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management System requirement

  • Develop long term and short-term Sales strategies in order to have profitable and long-term business association with OEMs and Dealerships. Coordinate for commercials related discussion with OEMs/ Dealers.

  • Generate new sales from a portfolio of accounts to achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.

  • Identify new potential customers within the allocated geographical area and implement business development activities.

  •  Monitor customer feedback and satisfaction with the company and its products.

  • Provide customers and potential customers with information about company products and services.

  • Maintain awareness of the market (clients, competitors, suppliers) and use any relevant information to increase the conversion rate.

  • Maintain awareness of development in sales process and product development.

  • Sales forecasting by monthly/Quarterly wise and ensure Sales plan execution

  • Achieve assigned sales for our products in the assigned territory; operate within assigned expense, budget and achieve new product sales program .

  • Network and gathering competition information and advice management with significant market information.

  • Liaise internally with all Designers and Product engineers and report new product ideas.

  • The role will involve commercial, operational & financial responsibility across the vertical.

  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients and identify opportunities for new business.

  • Oversee daily sales team activities, including managing schedules, setting quotas, and ensuring the team adheres to company policies and procedures.

  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, measure performance, and provide actionable insights to the Sales Manager.

  • Prepare and present sales reports, highlighting key metrics and performance indicators.

  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.

  • Generating and qualifying leads to expand the customer base.

  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues to ensure a high level of satisfaction.

  • Handle various administrative duties, such as maintaining sales records, managing correspondence, and coordinating meetings.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA or equivalent is preferred.

  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in sales within the automotive industry, with significant experience in OEM sales and a deep understanding of the OEM ecosystem.

  • Proven experience in working directly with top-tier OEMs like Toyota, BMW, Volkswagen, Nissan, MG, BYD, Chery.

  • In-depth understanding of automotive products, technologies, and market trends, particularly within the high-end and luxury automotive segments

  • Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.

  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth

  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Established and extensive network of senior-level contacts within OEMs.

  • Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and influence decision-makers.

  • Proven track record in leading and managing high-performing sales teams.

  • Strong ability to motivate and inspire a team towards achieving ambitious sales targets.
