Automotive: Provides premium design, engineering, and product management services tailored to the automotive industry.
Lifestyle: Specializes in luxury product design and branding solutions, elevating lifestyle brands through innovative design.
Manager -Sales & Business Development’s role involves managing day-to-day sales team operations, assisting in the development and implementation of sales strategies. To maintain customer relationships, analyzing sales data, and ensuring the sales team operates efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities:
Compliance to ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management System requirement
Develop long term and short-term Sales strategies in order to have profitable and long-term business association with OEMs and Dealerships. Coordinate for commercials related discussion with OEMs/ Dealers.
Generate new sales from a portfolio of accounts to achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.
Identify new potential customers within the allocated geographical area and implement business development activities.
Monitor customer feedback and satisfaction with the company and its products.
Provide customers and potential customers with information about company products and services.
Maintain awareness of the market (clients, competitors, suppliers) and use any relevant information to increase the conversion rate.
Maintain awareness of development in sales process and product development.
Sales forecasting by monthly/Quarterly wise and ensure Sales plan execution
Achieve assigned sales for our products in the assigned territory; operate within assigned expense, budget and achieve new product sales program .
Network and gathering competition information and advice management with significant market information.
Liaise internally with all Designers and Product engineers and report new product ideas.
The role will involve commercial, operational & financial responsibility across the vertical.
Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients and identify opportunities for new business.
Oversee daily sales team activities, including managing schedules, setting quotas, and ensuring the team adheres to company policies and procedures.
Analyze sales data to identify trends, measure performance, and provide actionable insights to the Sales Manager.
Prepare and present sales reports, highlighting key metrics and performance indicators.
Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
Generating and qualifying leads to expand the customer base.
Address customer inquiries and resolve issues to ensure a high level of satisfaction.
Handle various administrative duties, such as maintaining sales records, managing correspondence, and coordinating meetings.
Experience & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA or equivalent is preferred.
Minimum 7+ years of experience in sales within the automotive industry, with significant experience in OEM sales and a deep understanding of the OEM ecosystem.
Proven experience in working directly with top-tier OEMs like Toyota, BMW, Volkswagen, Nissan, MG, BYD, Chery.
In-depth understanding of automotive products, technologies, and market trends, particularly within the high-end and luxury automotive segments
Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.
Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
