Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Conduct a range of audits, including process audits, ISO system audits, performance work statement compliance audits, and any special audits as required.
Oversee the full audit process, including reviewing audit criteria, developing audit plans and checklists, conducting audits with process owners and stakeholders, analyzing audit results, and preparing comprehensive audit reports outlining findings, conclusions, and, where applicable, opportunities for improvement.
Provide training and guidance to internal audit staff when requested.
Perform other related tasks as assigned or directed.

Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to effectively plan and organize work assignments.
Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
At least 3 years of direct experience as a quality auditor on a related program.
Specialized Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
In-depth knowledge of ISO 19011:2018 Guidelines for Auditing Management Systems.
Understanding of audit risks, opportunities, and the principles of a risk-based approach to auditing.
Ability to gather information through effective interviewing, listening, observation, and reviewing documented records and data.
Knowledge of the appropriateness and consequences of using sampling techniques in audits.
Ability to verify the relevance and accuracy of the information collected during audits.
Skilled in documenting audit activities, findings, and conclusions, and preparing detailed audit reports.
Certifications, Licenses & Clearance:
Preferred: ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor Certification.
Highly Preferred: American Society for Quality Certified Quality Auditor (CQA).
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Required: Secret Clearance.
Active Clearance: Must possess an active Tier 3 Secret U.S. Government clearance.
Note: U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a Tier 3 Secret clearance.
Work Environment, Physical Demands & Mental Demands:
Ability to perform job duties efficiently and effectively.
Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions, including dust and high temperatures.
Ability to work long hours, endure exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
