They client operates through two primary divisions:
Automotive: Provides premium design, engineering, and product management services tailored to the automotive industry.
Lifestyle: Specializes in luxury product design and branding solutions, elevating lifestyle brands through innovative design.
Responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to optimize the supply chain process, enhancing operational efficiency, reducing costs, and improving customer satisfaction. This role involves overseeing all aspects of the supply chain, including procurement, inventory management, production planning, and logistics. The Supply Chain Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams to align supply chain activities with company goals, monitors key performance indicators (KPIs), and takes actions to drive continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
Compliance to ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management System requirement
Develop and implement strategic supply chain plans to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Oversee the entire supply chain process, including procurement, inventory management, production planning, and logistics.
Work closely with procurement, production, sales, and finance teams to align supply chain activities with company objectives.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), conduct data analysis, and identify areas for improvement. Implement necessary actions to address identified issues.
Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to ensure favorable terms.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services while maintaining quality standards.
Optimize inventory levels to meet customer demand, minimize carrying costs, and prevent stockouts.
Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including transportation disruptions, regulatory changes, and demand fluctuations.
Experience & Qualifications:
Minimum experience of at least 8 years
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Proven experience as a Head of Supply Chain within OEM accessories and product development divisions (e.g., Ford, Suzuki, Nissan, Stellantis, Toyota), with a strong understanding of procurement, inventory management, production planning, and logistics.
Expertise in negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships effectively.
Extensive experience in China supply chain management, including visits to China for supplier development and vendor negotiations.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data, monitor KPIs, and drive process improvements.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
Ability to identify and mitigate supply chain risks and manage complex logistics operations.
